All skill levels are welcome. For beginners, this retreat will acquaint you with basic tools and techniques, attuned observation, writing in reverie, basic sketching, and color. For journalers that wish to go deeper, wider, and richer into Nature Journaling, this class will encompass observation in heightened awareness, field practice, and further techniques in watercolor and page design. Pack your journal or sketchbook, some pens & pencils, watercolors or colored pencils, some comfortable clothing, and your appetite for a memorable personal retreat. Look forward to a menu of relaxed and inspiring journaling techniques, drinking in the beauty of nature, and tuning in to deeper explorations of the inner and outer spaces. ...with plenty of free time for reflection, sketching, painting, writing, browsing Maria’s extensive library of journals, soaking, and sharing meals.
